It was great connecting with the community at the Oranga Info Day on December 3rd! A big thank you to the team from the Oranga Community Centre who helped host the event. Over kai and fun house building with the kids - the Oranga Info Day was an opportunity for local whānau and aspiring home buyers to learn more about what’s underway in Oranga, an exciting little central neighbourhood that’s on the rise.



Our development partner, Piritahi, was there on the day, to kōrero about the innovative work they’re doing to upgrade critical infrastructure and future-proof the Oranga neighbourhood for generations to come. Keen and aspiring home buyers were also able to learn more about Kāinga Ora’s financial support products - designed to help people into homes of their own.



We’re continuing conversations with Council organisations to improve Oranga’s walkways, streets and parks so that they work well for the local community, and the neighbourhood's growing population.
